Over the last 25 years, Melissa has worked with many small business owners helping them to grow their businesses. Born and raised here in the Kawartha Lakes, she holds the area and its residents close to her heart. After the Entrepreneurship program at Fleming College, Melissa found her niche with like minded  business owners who believe a lot of the strength in a community comes from local businesses and their patrons.

As a Certified Professional Bookkeeper with CPB Canada, Melissa is continuously studying and staying up to date on all relevant changes to serve her clients best. Not only is she a CPB, but Melissa is also a ProAdvisor with QuickBooks Desktop and is QBO Advanced Certified.

She should also mention that she is happily married to Mark, has two beautiful daughters; Katie and Mackenzie, and has a houseful of animals. Make sure to say “Hi” to Jolene, the Golden Retriever who frequents the office when you stop by!
